My boys are into being "super helpers". They run around saying "super helpers to the rescue!!". Calix's new thing to do is when he's going to bed for the night he leans in and says to me "if you need my help, I will help you, okay? If you need my help, I will break down the door and come help you, okay?" and I always smile (while giggling on the inside) and give him a serious face "okay, Calix. If I need your help, I will call for you". Sometimes I do call for them (like if Orion is tickling me too much). They like to feel like super helpers, after all.

Besides, they come complete with blanket cape. And what mom can say no to that?
**As soon as I hit publish, I went to go throw a load of laundry in to be washed and saw that Maddox had already taken it upon himself to put all of the dirty laundry into the machine for me! These kids are the greatest!**

YAY! You're back!

I remember the days of kids running around in blankets. I don't remember mine being "super helpers" though. Not to say that they weren't or aren't. But they always wore their blankets just to be super heroes. :(.

Aww, Super Helpers to the rescue!!!!

I remember Ethan especially being into the super hero thing (of course). Every morning he'd sit down and very seriously draw a (sometimes backwards) S on a piece of paper and then tear it out so I could pin it to a blanket and then fasten the blanket around his shoulders.

He didn't do the laundry, though. Yay, for Super Helpers!!
