It's official!

Orion just informed me that for sure they want feet on the ground in Afghanistan on December 24th of this year. SO that means if I'm not currently pregnant.. we're going to try our damndest to not be until his 2 week leave around this time next year (that way he'll be here for the tail end of the pregnancy and the birth). I don't really wanna be one of those soldier's wives who's barely pregnant when he leaves..and have the child be 9 months old (or older) by the time he comes back. I'd rather not, thanks. So now, instead of doing the trying for #2 that we've been doing.. it'll have to come to an end for now. It's not so bad... at least now Calix will get to be the *baby* for a bit longer.. and I don't want to miss out on that. I've been very torn about the entire situation for a while now.. BUT now that his deployment's official.. I now know what the answer to all of my questioning is.

I at least feel better now knowing what the plan is.
