Hi, my name's Abby..and I have a blog.

well, this is my first entry. I'm used to Livejournal..so bear with me while I get the hang of this.
introductions.
my name's Abby (some of you are aware, I'm sure). I'm the mother of Calix..and he wants everyone to know he'll be 9 months old tomorrow.
I'm 23 years old and have been married to Orion
for a year.














He just recently went active with the army (though he's been in for 5 years)
and we're currently stationed at Fort Knox, KY.
I have yet to make any friends here (the lack of the outside world has a huge effect on that, I'm sure), so I kind of just hang out with the kiddo and experiment in the kitchen. It's not a bad life..but it gets a tad lonely from time to time. If I only had a drinking buddy or 2! I just have to keep in mind that we're new here...and that friends will happen!

I'm still a bit shy with my writing..but give me a few more entries to loosen up. I've been told I have no shame because I'll say anything at any given moment.
