I'm trying to do all that I can around here to make Orion's life as easy as can be while I'm away. I've done the shopping (he may need to get a gallon of milk..maybe), I've prepared a week long meal menu..including snacks.. for him so he doesn't need to stand in front of the fridge or pantry with a question mark over his head. And all of it is extra easy to make (let's save some messes, shall we?). Tomorrow, I need to finish doing the laundry and pack (!) because I haven't even started. But whatever..I'm not high maintenance these days. Throw some clothes and make up in a bag and I'm good to go. It's just family. They're stuck with me either way! :)



Tonight, I pulled out the recipe for Best Ever Muffins from AllRecipes.com. They claim to be extremely versatile. We'll see. I did half of the batch with chopped cranberries and the other half chopped cranberries and chopped chocolate bits because I can always appreciate a good chocolate chip muffin (I have this story, see, from when I was about..9 and it has to do with Pathmark late at night..and okay, I took a big bite out of one of their huge chocolate chip muffins in the bakery. I did. I did and I admit it and I'm sorry. But I also think it's kind of funny..and chubby. Mostly chubby. But I really really loved those big glorious chocolate studded muffins! Sigh.). We'll see if these are a keeper or not!
