These are a few of my favorite things!

So I mentioned how I found the same little lanterns I'd spotted at http://www.save-on-crafts.com/ (which is a site I absolutely adore but can't stand that because we live in Hawaii it's a $25 shipping rate at the lowest. Ugh, I wish for the mainland just for shipping costs!) for just about half the price at Goodwill (shhh..you didn't just hear me say that. This is the girl who would say we were rich when we were at our poorest. I'd be all "shhh..don't say that, honey. We have money" O still teases me about that.). Well, they sat on the counter for a few days while I figured out a plan for them. I know what I want when I see it..I just don't always know where it's going to go until I think about it for a little bit. So I came up with this:

I don't think I've ever seen anyone hang lanterns like that *in* their house. I don't care. I think it's adorable and it does something with that open gap space thing. Orion's mom sent the green pair in like..November and they've been hanging out just waiting for their place to shine. And shine you will, guys. Shine you will. (The black 3 just totally remind me of the lamp post at 133. I've had a fixation with that thing since I was a child. Remember how lovely it sounded when you'd swing around it? It totally jangled!)

Also:

There's that double heart wreath I ordered a while back..and another one of my cheapy finds. This fruit bowl came from Saver's. I was still hoping to find some kind of a fixer up type table or something I could use for the new tv..but every place we went to turned out with nothing usable (for us anyway)..but I do like to look at the home goods sections in these places because you *never know* what you'll stumble upon. That adorable bowl was $14. I think it ties the wreath in nicely..and therefore, I love it.

So those are a few of my new favorite things. Ugh, I love lanterns. I'm thinking about getting a bunch of super nice lantern type prints from this awesome photographer who sells his stuff on Etsy. I might hang them in a bathroom. But I want to do lots of things and unless I'm equipped with endless funds and multiple rooms to do over at a whim..I need to hold back.
