Monday Meme

1. What ONE thing would you like to accomplish before the end of the day?
The laundry. For sure the laundry. I've been so busy all week with everything else that I'm starting to need to get creative with clothing. In my world when you start rifling through things that don't fit and you haven't worn in ages just to HAVE something on your's time to do laundry.

2. What one goal would you like to attain before the end of the month?
The living room furniture. I *should* be able to finish that one up the day after Calix's birthday. But..we'll see!

3. Are you a "to-do list" writer? If so, do you stick to your list and cross things off as you complete them?
I am only sometimes. Orion is more of a list writer..I'm the..just get in there and do it kind of person. Like with grocery shopping, I tend to only bring a list when I want to make stuff with ingredients I'm not entirely sure I'll remember. With Christmas lists..I write down everything I want to buy and cross stuff out as I buy it..if I buy it.

4. In general, how organized do you feel you are?
More organized than many..less organized than some. Piles of stuff make me feel crazy. I throw out everything if I don't feel I HAVE to have it around. I also know where anything and everything is in this house at any given moment. I'm not a huge searching fan.. so for me, it's easier to keep mental tabs on stuff.

5. How many piles of papers/junk mail/etc. do you have laying around your house?
ummmm..1. but it's not a big pile at all because ya know.. I throw stuff out. It's just a small pile where things that don't have homes yet end up. There might be 1 bill..3 Nestle Good Start formula discount checks..and the ongoing collection of car spa receipts because when I have 10..I get a $20 wash keeping those around seems like a good plan to me in that pile. But honestly, nothing more.

6. Which ONE surface in your home do you have trouble keeping clean?
Ah, the top of the dryer. That seems to be the landing spot of everything when I come home because's there. That's where the diaper bag is at all times (easy to grab and go..but out of reach of small children), ongoing care packages sit while waiting to be nice and full and ready to go out, and that small stack of papers I talked about in the previous question all sit.

And I That's
