Well, this is awkward...

I hate when people stare at me. I hate when they make it obvious..and then throw in some dirty looks while they're at it. It makes me feel like I need to start explaining myself..out loud.

The kids and I went to the park today. I felt the need to take us all in for tetanus shots afterwards. Something has got to be done about the parks in this neighborhood (there seems to be new stuff everywhere else..but here)..they could be super neat..if only someone kept an eye on them instead of letting them go to crap. Is it so bad that I want a decent place around here (there are 2 parks near my house..both about 2 blocks away in either direction..which would be perfect..ya know, if they weren't all rundown) that the kids and I can walk to and not feel the need to hurry out of there? Either way.

Anyway. So after the kids napped up and ate something, I loaded them up into the car to go to the liquor store. Maddox in the tummy pack..Calix in the stroller. Holy crap everyone was staring at me and being all judgemental and what not because "*gasp*!! 2 babies and in a liquor store?!!! Worst mother ever!!". Look..suck it. All of you have kids too. You just don't have to bring them with you EVERYWHERE you go..because ya know..you have people to help out. I'm not bitching about it or anything because I love my kids. I don't MIND bringing them with me..except that it's a lot more work..and takes a bit more time to do things. But that's okay. I had them..they're mine. I shouldn't have to pawn them off on other people (I totally saw a woman with like..6 kids trailing along with her in Walmart a few days ago. Did I pass judgement? Nope. She reminded me of my mom and how she'd have all sorts of large numbers of children following her around the store "get out from under my feet!!" and "no, you can't get a box of animal crackers!" haha).

All I'm sayin is..stop staring at me. It makes me feel all weird n stuff. It tends to make me say things like "ah, the joys of having kids!" or "this is what happens when a daddy deploys" or "all day everyday!"..and dammit, I shouldn't have to feel like I need to explain myself so much. And you would *think* that on a friggin military installation they would get that by now. That hey, sometimes women are left to do everything on their own..hey, maybe I should stop giving her rude looks..and maybe..just MAYBE ask her if she'd like a f*cking hand with something!

But I'm not angry or anything..
