We all (Me, Orion, Calix, Pat, and Cramer) went out to dinner last night. Had a hard time deciding where to go..and ended up pulling into a parking lot that had a Hibachi and Sushi place on accident while trying to get somewhere else. Everyone seemed all up for it..and though I wasn't all sorts of excited like everyone else was..I simply said "whatever makes everyone happy" (which I later realized was a total mom thing to say haha) and we all headed in. We sat around a hibachi table with another family..and after we'd all ordered, it was on. Calix, I think, was the most impressed. Dinner and a show??

We all generally had a swell time. Conversation at the table was mostly dominated by my darling son. Everyone loved him..but seriously..what's not to love? He *is* mine afterall.


In sadder news..Cramerhead leaves today :(. I'll miss her..she was certainly a way better guest than the previous visitor...but I guess it also helps that we adore the hecks out of her anyway. I feel bad that there's seriously just not all that much to do here (museums..distilleries..shopping..and then all kinds of out of season things) right about now..and I wasn't able to drink with the best of them this time around (I really could have gone for a drunken game of Monopoly, too)..however? There's always next time! I think while O's gone, I'll try to fly her out here once every other month or so..just so we don't go 9 months without seeing eachother again.


Blah..I have a doctor's appointment today.
