Thanksgiving update..and things of the such

Oops..I guess I haven't written in a week or so. Well, Thanksgiving went over well. Grams and Gramps were here..I did all of the food and all of that good stuff. Everyone said I outdid myself..so that was nice. Gramps said he was going to steal me. That's kinda creepy. Grams also called me the next morning to tell me I inspired her. She, apparently, doesn't do the fancy table setting thing during holidays..so she said she's finally going to go out and buy holiday dishes. That's cute of her. She also ended up with my dinner rolls recipe because "I've been looking for a good one for *years* Abby..and here it is". That's cute. No, I didn't take any pictures..though I wish I did. Orion at least wanted pictures of the table..because please, day before Thanksgiving, I actually sat there and ironed all of the napkins into fan type things. No, seriously. This is how I roll.

Friday was Orion's birthday. We didn't do much because ya know.. we were still stumbling around from Thanksgiving. I didn't even make his cake until Saturday because come onnnnn there's just way too many sweets in this house. We'll have to figure something out because his birthday will always either fall ON Thanksgiving..or the day after. We'll have to do something special.

Other than that..nothing's really been going on. I'm meeting up with one of my mom's friends who has a kid around Calix's age on Saturday or Sunday to do a bit of Christmas shopping (I really only have to buy Christmas eve jammies..my mother, david, and O's mother presents..and then DONE DONE DONE till next year!) and to get the little guys together. That'll be fun.

Also..Michelle gets here in less than 3 weeks!!! Horray! She'll be here from December 16th-22nd and lemme tell ya..we're gonna have all sorts of fun! Eeee hehehe..oh my gosh..a friend! Haha.

Calix also had an appointment yesterday..my kid's small, ya'll. He's 24 pounds..and a mere 28 1/2 inches tall. He's only grown like 11 inches since being born..awww. And the doctor? Totally called him short. HE'S TRYING!!!
