My son? Also climbs stairs. These pictures were taken yesterday (whoops..you caught me. Yes..sometimes I leave a bag of diapers on the stairs so I don't have to go up them so often. I'm actually that lazy.)
A few moments later, while my gaze was on Orion (for like 3 seconds!), Calix decided he wanted to try to climb down the stairs. You can imagine how that ended. Yup..in tears. However! Today, he saw me go upstairs and he followed right behind (Orion was keeping guard behind him so there wasn't another accident) and he climbed up ALL of the stairs! Horray! There was clapping and hugging and telling him how awesome he is. Calix looked at us like we were crazy.
Also! The new plates? Yup..they're on the car. Horray! Such a friggin ordeal, lemme tell ya. "It wasn't nearly this hard in Colorado..". I'd allotted about $275 for plates in the budget this week (because we still had no idea how much tax we paid for the effing car in Colorado)..and the guy was like "You might end up paying near $200" and I was like "more than fine" and then he went and called the dealership and found out that we paid more than $800 in taxes..soooo!! We only ended up having to pay $48 and a $5 inspection fee by the sheriff. But whatever..$53? Hecks yes! I win!
I also took a 2 hour nap today..because Orion was home and I could! Oh my goodness I needed that nap! Yay for exclamation points!!!!!
