The 26th Twelfth

Ask yourself one question.

Whose birthday is it?!?!?!!????

THIS GIRL'S!

An added bonus for all of you lovelies:

After discovering that many people around here already have the outsides of their houses FULLY decked out..we decided to "just put the tree up" ya know "for right now". Don't mind Santa over there..I just bought him and when he showed up via mailman I had to build him to see him in all of his glory..so he's been hanging out for about a week and a half. He's waiting for the other stockings to hold onto. The train showed up the same day as Santa and I've just been so tempted to set it up..okay so the nutcrackers are also hanging out around the house..but it's not like anyone outside knows what's going on in here. We've still got them fooled with the Halloween lighted skulls. That ya know..aren't in the ground anymore because of irrigation placing and are sitting on a chair out there but still! Still..they're out there.

Maybe I should pack them away.

I'd have to say one of my very favorite ornaments up there is this one:

One of the ones we picked up in Disney World when we were there (I've started a new thing where we get a new ornament for the places we go. You should see the pineapple I got for our move here. I'm serious. I also finally got the boys personalized first Christmas ornaments with their birthdays and their birth weights and also one for me and O that has our anniversary on it. It's a couple of moose. I felt weird getting anything with a white wedding gown and a tux because it isn't an honest portrayal of how we got married. Moose aren't either..but ya know how things go. If they had a pregnant lady in a black dress because the maternity store didn't have any white dresses and a handsome fella standing in front of a judge ornament I would have picked that one).

Anyway..so I picked it with my always flirty/romantic/imaginative/hopeful mind that Orion would stick jewelry or something small and round with diamonds and is about a size 5 (trust that I can't believe my ring size is 5, either. I feel like I have pudgy fingers) in it as a surprise on Christmas morning ("surprise! here's your REAL bridal set! No need to wear that $9 silver ring anymore!" though of course I'd keep it..but a girl likes to twinkle.).

It's empty. I have a feeling it'll be empty for a while yet. But one Christmas I'll open it and there will be something in it. Ya know..hopefully.

Happy Birthday Abby!

I wish we had a tree up but we get a real one so we have to wait. I love that ornament. It's so shiny inside!

Happy birthday one more time before the day's over!

Hmmm, is there room for four more ornaments on that tree? :o)

I'm putting the Halloween stuff away tonight but will probably hold off on Christmas until -- you know -- closer to Thanksgiving.

Happy Birthday my dear!! You look absolutely beautiful as always.

I never understood how people got so "into" Christmas like you do. But now that I have Corbin I totally get it. I can't wait to put our tree up... maybe I will do it soon since I can now say that I'm not the only one who did it lol

You're adorable, Abby, all festive and what-not. I can't wait to get our tree up too. I love the Santa stocking holder!
