I'm seriously a hot sweaty mess right about now. You want a good workout? Lug 2 kids (one in a carseat) around for a while. Good golly gosh.
It's a fantastically nice day out..62 degrees...a slight breeze. My kind of weather! Not too hot..not too cold..just right. So, I brought the boys out to play for a while. Calix went around gathering up all of the leaves he could find and handed them to me one by one. Maddox just slept in his tummy pack ("Randy laid there like a log..it was his only defense."). After about 45 minutes of outside play time..okay, I was getting bored..and we had to go to the commissary to get milk for Calix anyway.

Loaded the boys up in the car and headed out. For milk. Okay, and I picked up some baby carrots for Lyndsay while we were there (holy healthy 12 year old, batman!). I was then debating whether or not I should go to the class 6 with the boys in tow. At the very last second I turned right (instead of left) and headed there. Screw it..I'm going.

Mommy drinks because you cry.

Oh stop it..it's a joke. So I pulled up..got both of the boys out while this old couple were walking past me "how terrible does this look? I'm just one person though." they kinda smiled and carried on into the liquor store. Talk about giving me the right of way..hahaha..so many people let me in line ahead of them because I had Calix balanced on one hip..holding Maddox in his carseat with my other hand..and then also grasping onto a bottle of Southern Comfort. "Looks like you have your hands full. Literally." the checkout girl said. "All day everyday" I replied.

I'm tired. Just from that! My arms are all sore n stuff. Jeeze.

I'm thinking about knocking on our neighbor's door at some point and just being like "Coretta! Come to the park with us!" Perhaps tomorrow...because it's supposed to be extra nice again. I know her baby can't run and play like Calix can yet..but at least she'll be getting out of the house with me and ya know..we can talk. Maybe. We'll see how I feel about the whole thing tomorrow. Maybe I'll feel shy again.

BUT! our Netflix picks arrived..and Calix is currently watching Open Season. I'll probably put Marie Antoinette on afterwards while he's taking his small nap. Horray for things that make my life easier!!
