We just got back from the ultrasound. Same lady..but she was actually nice to me this time. Orion and Calix, of course, weren't allowed in the room with me. She asked me if anyone's told me the sex of the baby yet..and I said "no.. why? can you tell??" and she said she'd just started but she'd try to check for me. Lots of digging and all of that. Oh..wait..this part's funny. It really belongs somewhere in the beginning..but like..this is how I roll. I walked in and said "I have an appointment for 11" and she asked me what my name was..and then she asked if my bladder was full. "Oops.. I totally forgot" So I stood at the drinking fountain for a while drinking as much as I could..and then she walked up and gave me a cup to fill up. I drank so much it like..hurt. Anyway..so I'm really just like rambling to keep you reading, mostly. She showed me the baby's face..and printed out a couple of pictures. I think I kinda saw my nose on the kid. Poor thing, really. But I guess we'll see who baby looks like in a few months, won't we?
So..I asked Orion if he feels like a failure in the sperm department. He said "yeah".

Aww :( I know it isn't a bad thing that you're having a boy.... but geeze I wanted you to have a girl. Well... all I have to say is that I hope this isn't your last baby, because a little mini Abby would make the world a better place! And it would mean poor Charlie wouldn't have to put up with me spoiling her daughter anymore. Congrats hun!!!!
