Strokes, Lupus, and cuteness all around

This morning while I was in the shower, Orion came in to talk to me. I told him the left side of my bottom lip felt numb and tingly. It then moved from the bottom left to the top left. Hmmm, we thought. He told me to call him and let him know if anything else happened. After my shower while I was getting dressed my left wrist started getting all numb and tingly too. Hmmmm. Each of these things would only last a few minutes then fade away. After I blow dried my hair and was doing my make up..my left peripheral vision was going foggy and blurry and I had what I'll describe as a tension headache on my right. I almost fainted while changing Calix's diaper..I was dizzy and blurry and headachy. I took a couple of Tylenol for my headache thinking that maybe my headache was so bad it was just messing with my vision. I then called Orion at work.
He raced home to me and because I had a dr's appointment at 11 anyway..he figured it wouldn't hurt to be at the hospital in case any of those symptoms came back. I agreed. Because they gave me signs to look out for after before they discharged me from the hospital after having Calix last year, O was especially worried because 'omg..this sounds like a stroke'. They got me in right away and took my blood pressure 135/68..not horrible. I'd only gained a pound since being seen last..and then I sat and waited in the waiting room till I was called back.
I explained what happened and my doctor left to go talk to another doctor. A mini stroke or TIA. So that's scary. I got sent down to the lab to do a lot of testing..the main one they're looking for? Lupus. So..that's really scary.
They sent me home with some baby aspirin (shut up.) and I'm to take 1 every day..and of course come back immediately if any of those things happen again. My doctor also warned me about cramping and bleeding (didn't really have to tell me about it..because please, I know) because I'm at 21 weeks and well..I could have this baby early (and chances are? it obviously wouldn't survive).

While we were there, I'd told her about the technician in radiology (she looked up the ultrasound pictures and wondered why they weren't there so I told her what happened) and she said though she doesn't know her name..she knows who I'm talking about because people complain about her all the time. Orion and I are wondering why the crap she's still there then. Anyway..I'd just like to say my doctor's awesome and totally hugged me afterwards. I heart her.

Also? wanna hear something cute? While she was finding the baby's heartbeat..as *soon* as that little rhythmic galloping started, Calix squealed, pointed, and said "dat (that)". He totally still recognizes womb sounds awwwww. My boy remembers! *sniffle*

Oh, and while Orion was flying like a bat out of hell to get home to me..I took pictures of Calix in his costume..and I was trying to upload them..but blogger's being silly and won't let me. So..perhaps a little later.

And also? (I know..so many additions) I'd just like to say I love the army..and am seriously on like the brink of tears because of it. All of the guys are worried about me (when O got back from the hospital thing everyone kept coming up to him like "Delgado..is your wife okay? What happened??"..and Orion totally got pitched to take some time off to spend with me. I said "like what...the rest of the day?" and he said it sounded like a few days to him..and Sgt. Potter wants to talk to him about it in a little bit. Awww..they all just want me to be okay. That's so adorable I I might cry. Shh..shhh..hugs from doctors..time off for my husband all because they're worried. Shh..stop it. Orion keeps calling to see if I'm okay because he's silly like that. I feel fine minus a slight headache. I was upstairs and it took me till the 4th ring to answer the phone and when I got to it, he was like "babe? you scared me..took too long to answer the phone" well..I'm sorry..I was upstairs and I'm not about to run.
