Oh, toffee chunks!

Maybe toffee cheesecake for breakfast was a bad idea. ha. Gotta sample the product.. plus, I wanted to take a picture of it. And let me just tell you.. the people who made the one in the picture? Totally had too much time on their hands. I mean, if you read the directions, it's not going to turn out *anything* like that lie of a photo. I even saved half of the chocolate caramel sauce for the top..because seriously? I thought the other way was too ghetto. The cooking time on that recipe is totally wrong..so you have to adjust. But all in all it's pretty tasty. Rich..but tasty.
This is what I ended up with (and ps..it's really hard to get a clean cut on something that has 2 layers of friggin chocolate caramel sauce):

Nothing too eventful going on..Orion did end up coming home for a few hours the other day. After he got off the phone with me the night before (he was more pissed off than I was, actually), he basically told the Sgt. that was there that because it wasn't 24 hours before the appointment..he couldn't cancel..and if he did? They wouldn't make him anymore appointments..ever. That's all true. So, he ended up showing up here around 6 in the morning and we snuggled in bed for a little while..he made me breakfast..and then we went out grocery shopping before his dentist appointment.
But anyway, he comes home tomorrow morning/afternoon (I know..he's only been gone for a week..and come December, he'll be gone for a year. I know this..but when I know he's so friggin close to home and he can't cuddle me..it makes me sad). Other than that? I've really just been on the phone with Michelle. She likes to call me a lot. That also means I haven't been able to get anything done. So..woohoo..lots of work for me today!

First? Calix and I are going to watch Dumbo.
